Returning an Andean Condor to the Wild On September 29, 2019, Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary released a rescued Andean condor equipped with a GPS transmitter. After two years of continuous monitoring, the data confirmed that the condor had successfully adapted and survived in the wild.
